Accra Indie Filmfest partners with Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival, one of the biggest short film festivals in Europe, France. This forms part of the festival’s activities specially curated for film audience’s best experience,
This partnership will amplify their African Program selection by screening four short films out of the competition, including DA YIE by Anthony Nti, WHAT DID YOU DREAM by Karabo Lediga, TROUBLEMAKER by Olive Nwosu and WARDS HENNA PARTY by Morad Mostafa as part of this year’s edition of AiF. This partnership is facilitated by Institut Francaise to help create long-lasting relationship between Ghana, and French and the growth sustainability of the African cinema.
The 4th edition of AiF resumes as a full in-person festival after the emergence of the global pandemic Covid 19 in 2020. This year will see the screening of 41 official selected films representing 22 countries also battling out in the various awards categories.
The much-anticipated short film festival solidified its relevance as one of the biggest film festivals in the world with its maiden edition in 2019, the sophomore edition, Virtual Access Edition in 2020 and a hybrid edition in 2021. AiF has gradually registered itself as one of the highly competitive and innovative international film festivals on the African continent.
