Film DirectorNicole Amarteifio is a Ghanaian-American film director, producer, and screenwriter. She created the award winning series, An African City, that was released on YouTube in March 2014. Amarteifio was named one of OkayAfrica 100 Women and has been called "the Shonda Rhimes of Ghana" by Marie Claire Magazine. Her first feature film, BEFORE THE VOWS, premiered at the New York African Film Festival and her short film, BABY SOMETHING, premiered at the American Black Film Festival. Most recently, Nicole was one of the writers of The Best Man: The Final Chapters for Peacock. The series went on to be nominated for a 2023 NAACP Image Award and was the first original project for the streamer to land in Nielsens Streaming Series Top 10.

Writer/ ProducerMpho Ramathuthu is a Script writer and Producer from South Africa. She has over fifteen year experience in the film and television industry. She has worked in training institutions such as The Scriptwriting Institute and Script-to-Screen in Indigenous Languages. She continues to provide training in Scriptwriting and motion picture in different cinema workshops. Mpho is the founder and Creative Producer of the “Breaking Borders Project” (African Women in Film Project), a cross border film slate by African women. She has Co-Produced a Zulu Musical Feature Film called “She is King” in 2017 which has been screened in different film festival across the globe. Her recent works also include an award-winning Short Film “Ibala” and Piet’s Sake 2 Feature Film. She is currently producing a South Africa/ Nigeria Co-Production Feature Film called Inhlawulo (Damages). Mpho has been a jury member and participated in a number of International Film Festivals including the “Africa Film Festival New York” (America), “Durban international film Festival (South Africa), Accra Indie Filmfest (Ghana), “International Images Film Festival for Women” (Zimbabwe) and the 2021 Berlin Co-Production Market (virtual Edition).
