Are you ready to embark on a cinematic adventure and be part of an incredible cultural event? The Accra Indie Filmfest is seeking dedicated volunteers to join our team and help make this year’s festival an unforgettable experience!

About Accra Indie Filmfest:

Accra Indie Filmfest is a celebration of independent cinema, showcasing the best of local and international short films. Our goal is to promote diverse voices, artistic expression, and meaningful storytelling through the magic of film. This year, we’re excited to bring together filmmakers, industry professionals, and film lovers from around the world.

Volunteer Roles:

Volunteering with the Accra Indie Filmfest is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience, meet industry professionals, and contribute to the thriving film community in Accra. We have various roles available, including:

  • Ushers and Greeters: Welcome and assist festival attendees, provide information about film screenings and venues, and ensure a pleasant experience for all.
  • Attendance Registration: Help with registration, and checking in attendees at festival venues.
  • Venue Setup and Logistics: Assist with setting up screening rooms, arranging seating, and managing logistics during the festival.
  • Marketing and Promotion: Support our marketing team by distributing promotional materials, engaging with attendees, and spreading the word about the festival.
  • Technical Support: Aid in setting up audiovisual equipment, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring smooth screenings.

Festival Dates: The Accra Indie Filmfest will take place from 29th July – 3rd August 2024 at the Alliance Francaise, Accra.
