Who can apply?
You need to be a filmmaker with not less than 1 year working experience in film/TV. You must be 20 years and above.
Is it for only directors?
It is not only for directors. It is open to cinematographers, editors, producers and boom operators as well.
I am a screenwriter, can I apply?
No, screenwriters cannot apply unless you can also assume the role as a director, cinematographer, producer, editor, or a boom operator.
Do I have to be a Ghanaian to apply?
No, you do not need to be a Ghanaian to apply, but you must be residing in Ghana and well-vested in telling the Ghanaian story.
How much will it cost to attend the workshop
The workshop is absolutely free, but terms and conditions apply.
Will it be a virtual workshop?
It will not be a virtual but an in-person workshop
How will the filmmaking team meet with the final selected screenwriters?
There will be two separate virtual sessions that will be held for the filmmaking teams to interact with the screenwriters.
Will certificates be given?
Yes, a certificate of participation will be given at the end of the workshop.
