AiF Talent Connect 2026
“AiF Talent Connect” returns for its 3rd edition as part of the 8th Accra Indie Filmfest (AiF), scheduled to take place from 27th to 31st July 2026 under the theme “Resilience in Motion.” As one of the festival’s flagship initiatives, AiF Talent Connect reaffirms its commitment to discovering and elevating exceptional storytelling talent across Ghana.
The programme provides filmmakers with the opportunity to pitch original short film projects across all genres and stages of development to a distinguished jury of local and international industry professionals. With the continued support of Création Africa Ghana, the French Embassy in Ghana, and Alliance Française Accra, the winning filmmaker will receive the remarkable opportunity to pitch their project at the 49th Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival’s Talent Connexion in France, one of the world’s most prestigious short film markets. AiF Talent Connect serves as a powerful gateway to international exposure, creative mentorship, and long-term industry advancement.
The selected filmmaker will benefit from tailored mentorship and pitch development support from the AiF and Création Africa Ghana teams, ensuring they are well-equipped to represent Ghana and Africa on the global stage.
Since its inception in 2019, Accra Indie Filmfest has remained dedicated to nurturing independent filmmaking voices through a dynamic ecosystem of screenings, training programmes, international collaborations, and industry dialogue. The continued growth of AiF Talent Connect further strengthens this mission, bridging the gap between local talent and global opportunities.
